STARS offers daily lessons throughout the ski season for client age 5 and up for all types of disabilities. All lessons include a lesson with a qualified instructor, adaptive equipment as necessary, and a lift ticket for use during the scheduled lesson time.

Lessons are scheduled for 3 hours or 7 hours

This program is designed for independent skiers that need a helper to show them the mountain. This is not a lesson and no instruction is given.  Participants need to purchase a separate lift ticket from the ski school ticket office. Adaptive skiers or riders get a discounted Challenge Skier lift ticket. 

Buddy: half day (3 hour) – $25.00, full day (7 hour) - $39.00 

STARS Adaptive Inclusion Program

This program helps children with special needs participate in group lessons with their peers. STARS provides a specially trained instructor to work within the group format to provide more one on one attention within the group. Clients must take one private lesson with STARS first to ensure that the client is ready to participate in a group. Please call STARS reservation desk at 970-871-5371 for more information on programs that are right for your child. 

Snow Wonder Ski Program

This program is designed for kids on the autism spectrum. The program offers instruction and socialization in a fun environment with other other kids similar to them. The program runs for five weeks on Fridays and Sundays.

Lessons are from 10:00-3:00 each day.

Dates: January 8, 13, 22 February 5,10 and March 9.

All Access Ski Program

The program is for anyone that uses a bi-ski, mono-ski, amputees, and 3 track or 4 track skiers and riders. Participants will be paired with one or two trained instructors and ski within a group format based on abilities. The program runs for eight weeks on Saturday's from 10:00-3:00 each day.

Dates: December 10,17 January 7, 14, 21 and February 4,11,18

Program costs is $225.00 for all eight days including lift ticket
